Woof Help
Setup

How do I change my business name, logo or contact details?

Settings › Business Setup in Woof is three steps you fill in once: who you are and when you are open, how your portal and emails look (logo, cover photo, brand colour), and which services you offer. It feeds every invoice, email and booking page you send.

Open Settings › Business Setup. Your name and phone are already there from signup; the rest is worth ten minutes because it appears on everything a client sees. Two checklist rows come from this page: "Business name & contact" and "Your logo & branding".

Step 1: Your Business

  • Business Profile: name, phone, email, website and address. These print on invoices and receipts, appear in your emails' signature, and show on your booking page.
  • Tax Rate: one rate and a name (HST, VAT, Sales Tax). Enter zero if you do not charge tax. Several taxes or per-service rates live under Advanced tax setup (Settings › Invoice & Tax).
  • Store Hours: the hours you are open, per day, with + Add hours for a split day and Closed for days you are not. These are your posted hours: the booking page shows Open now or Closed from them, and online booking stays inside them.
  • Client waiver: Use our template to start from Woof's, or Write your own. Clients sign it on their first online booking.

Save & continue saves the step and moves to the next one. On a computer it is at the top right, next to Save draft (which keeps a half-finished step); on a phone it is at the bottom of each step. On the last step it reads Complete setup.

Step 2: Client Portal & Branding

  • Business Logo: shown on your booking page, in every email, on invoices and receipts. Before it saves you can rotate, zoom and crop it in the frame; the same editor applies to the cover photo and to pet photos (which crop square so a dog's face is not cut off in the avatar circle). Photos are resized in your browser before upload, so any size is fine. The logo saves as soon as you finish cropping: you'll see Logo uploaded. If it says the upload failed, press Try again; Save & continue also retries it, and won't move on until the logo is saved or removed.
  • Cover Photo: the band across the top of your booking page. Without one, the brand colour is used. Like the logo, it saves as soon as you pick it (Cover photo uploaded), and Remove cover takes it off again.
  • Brand Color: presets or a hex value. Buttons and links on the portal use it.
  • Brand Message: one line under your name on the portal ("Fresh cuts, happy mutts").
  • Social handles: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X, shown as Follow Us on the portal.

The Live Preview beside the form (below it on a narrower screen) is your actual booking page with your changes applied.

Step 3: Services You Offer

Tick Grooming (and Retail if you sell products). The other service lines are marked coming soon. Complete setup takes you on to Grooming setup for services and prices.
