Why can my groomer only see some things?
That is Woof's Groomer / Trainer role working as designed: Today, their own column of the calendar as My Schedule, and the time clock. Give them Front Desk if they need to book for others or see clients, or grant a single permission for one more thing.
A groomer signing in sees a short sidebar: Today, My Schedule, Time Clock and Help & Support. That is not a fault. The Groomer / Trainer role is deliberately limited to what a person doing the grooming needs: who is coming to them today, their own appointments, and the pet notes on those bookings.
Why
Clients' contact details, other groomers' days, prices, money and settings are the things most salons do not want every employee to see. The safe default is off, and the API enforces it, so typing a page address does not get around it.
When they need more
- They book appointments for other groomers, or take payments: change their role to Front Desk under Settings › User Accounts. They keep their own column too.
- They need exactly one more thing (to see prices, say, or to send messages): keep the role and tick that permission under Permissions on their record. It shows as an Exception, and only the eight togglable permissions can be granted this way.
- They run the place: Admin.
Checking what they see
Preview as on their record shows you Woof exactly as they see it, with a banner and a way back. Use it before and after changing anything.
The calendar they see
My Schedule is the normal calendar locked to their column, so they can check pets in and out, complete the groom and send the report card. They cannot move an appointment to another groomer.
