How do I add, rename or remove a service or add-on?
Step 1 of Settings › Grooming in Woof is your menu: bookable services with a duration and an online-booking switch, add-ons clients can add to a booking, and surcharges staff add at check-in. Add-ons extend the appointment and land on the invoice automatically.
Open Settings › Grooming. Step 1 has three lists.
Bookable services
What a client (or your staff) chooses when booking: Full Groom, Bath & Tidy, Puppy Groom. Each has a name, a description, the pet types it applies to, a duration (the appointment length it books), and an Allow Online Booking switch. A service with the switch off is staff-only.
+ Add Service creates one; open a service to rename it, change its duration or switch it off for online booking. Removing a service is refused while it has upcoming appointments; rebook or cancel those first.
Prices are not set here. They come from the price matrix on Step 2 (or the fixed price on the service if you chose Price at Checkout).
Add-ons
Extras a client can add to a booking: nail grind, teeth brushing, de-shedding. + Add Add-on takes a name, description, the pet types it applies to, a duration and one price. To charge more for a large dog, price it on Step 2 instead: the add-on has a row in the price grid with a Vary by size button that opens it into one cell per size tier. Each add-on has its own duration, so a booking with two add-ons is longer than the service alone, and the online booking flow refuses a slot that is too short for them.
Add-ons chosen at booking are stored on the appointment, shown on the check-in screen, and become their own lines on the invoice that opens at check-in.
Conditional surcharges
Amounts staff add when they see the dog: matting, aggressive behaviour, flea treatment. + Add Surcharge with a name and amount. They are not bookable online; staff add them at check-in.
Order
Services and add-ons are listed in the order they were created, and that is the order clients see them online. There is no drag-to-reorder yet; to move a service up, the workaround is to recreate it (only sensible before it has bookings).
Cats
Cat services and add-ons only appear once Cats is enabled under Settings › Profile Fields › Species.
