How do I set my business hours?

Business hours are set once in Woof under Settings › Business Setup, Step 1. They show Open now or Closed on your booking page, cap what clients can book online, and are separate from your groomers' schedules.

Two things sound alike and are not. Business hours are when the shop is open to the public. Groomer schedules are when each groomer takes appointments. A groomer can be in at 7 to prep with the doors still shut; a client should not be able to book 7.

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Business Setup, Step 1, Store Hours.
  2. For each day, set the opening and closing time in your local 24-hour clock, or mark the day Closed.
  3. + Add hours adds a second interval for a split day (9-12 and 13-17).
  4. Save & continue (or Save draft to stay on the step). The Business hours row in your setup checklist (Ask Woof, Your business chapter) ticks once they are saved.

Where the hours are used

  • Your booking page shows Open now or Closed, and the hours themselves.
  • Online booking only offers times inside these hours, even if a groomer's schedule runs later. If you want the schedule to win, turn on Let clients book outside your posted business hours on Online Booking › Settings.
  • Your clients' portal home page lists them.

They do not restrict staff. Booking from the calendar outside hours is allowed, with a warning.

Holidays and one-off closures

Hours are the weekly pattern. Days you close are entered under Settings › Holidays & Closures: Days off, holidays and closures.
