Messaging & automations
9 answers about messaging & automations in Woof grooming software, one question per page.
- What messages does Woof send automatically?
Grow › Automations in Woof is one list of every message that can go out without you: reminders, confirmations, welcome emails, report cards, review requests, rebook nudges, birthday wishes and more. Each row is a switch and a drawer where you set the words and timing.
- How do I get Google and Facebook reviews from clients automatically?
Turn on Automated Reviews under Grow › Automations in Woof and paste your Google and Facebook review links. Every check-out then sends the client a rate-your-visit email, and ratings land on the Reviews dashboard.
- How do I message a client, and where do their replies show up?
Messages in Woof is your inbox with clients: start a conversation from New Message or the Chat button on any profile, and the client reads and replies from their portal. Replies come back to Messages, with an email to you and a badge on the sidebar.
- Why didn't my client get their reminder text or email?
Check, in order: does the client have a phone or email on file, is the reminder switched on in Woof and how many days before does it send, has your store's texting been paused, and did it go to spam. The Reminders & Confirmations report shows what was sent to whom.
- Which emails and texts does Woof send to my clients?
Settings › Notifications & Emails in Woof lists every automated message sent in your name, grouped by when it fires, each with a live on/off switch and a Configure link. It is the audit view of your automations.
- How do appointment reminders work?
Woof reminds clients by email and text a set number of days before, with a link that confirms the visit when they tap it, and a second reminder chases the ones who have not confirmed. Change the timing and wording under Grow › Automations › Appointment Reminders.
- How do I send a report card after a groom?
After Complete Grooming in Woof, add before and after photos, tap the observations for coat, skin, ears, nails, teeth and behaviour, add any heads up and a message, and Send. The card is emailed from your business name and lands in the client's portal.
- How do I email all my clients about a promotion?
Open Grow › Campaigns in Woof, pick an audience, build the email from blocks, preview it exactly as it will send, and send now or schedule it. Drafts save as you go.
- How do I send emails from my own email address?
Woof sends every client email from its own verified address with your business name on it, and replies go to the address you verify under Settings › Verify Sender Email. Enter your address, type the six-digit code, done.
