How do I find a client or pet quickly?
Press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K anywhere in Woof, type a name, phone or email, and open the client or pet straight from the results. Press N to open the New menu from any page.
The search box in the top bar is on every page. It looks up clients and pets by name, phone or email as you type, and each result opens the right place directly.
Using it
- Click the search box, or press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows.
- Type at least two characters. Results appear grouped into Clients and Pets.
- Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open, Esc to close.
A client result opens their family profile. A pet result opens the same profile on that pet's tab. View more under a group takes you to the full Clients or Pets list, filtered to what you typed.
What it matches
Names, phone numbers and email addresses for clients; names and breeds for pets. Phone numbers match as typed, so if you saved a number with dashes, search with dashes. Two words narrow the match ("max beagle" finds the Beagle called Max).

Bookings and invoices are not in the top-bar search yet. Find a booking on the calendar, and an invoice under Money › Invoices & Payments, where both pages have their own filters.
