How do I see who is coming in today?

Woof's Today page shows who is expected, who is here and who has left, with the Check In and Check Out buttons for each pet. Start and end every day on it.

Today is the page Woof opens on. It reads your bookings and check-ins for the store's current day and turns them into one list you can work from the front desk.

The headline counts

Arriving: pets booked for today who have not been checked in yet.
On site: pets currently checked in. Overnight boarders are counted here too while they stay.
Departed: pets checked out today.
Overdue pickups: pets still here after their pickup time.

A pet counts once even when it is booked for two services; the per-service breakdown underneath shows both.

Checking a pet in

When a client arrives, find the pet in the Arriving list and click Check In. The pet moves to On site, the booking's status updates, and any arrival notifications you have turned on go out.

Checking out and paying

When the service is done, Check Out closes the visit. If the visit has not been invoiced yet, Woof creates the invoice for you so you can take payment on the spot. Check a pet in and out goes through the whole sequence.

Dates and "today"

Today follows your store's clock, not the device you are reading it on. A groomer checking the page from home at 11 pm still sees the store's day.

When the list is empty

An empty Arriving list means no bookings for today. If you expected some, check the calendar for the date, and check that the booking was saved for today rather than tomorrow.
