Online booking
9 answers about online booking in Woof grooming software, one question per page.
- How do I stop clients booking at the last minute or too far ahead?
Under Schedule › Online Booking › Settings in Woof, Availability & Rules sets how far ahead and how last-minute clients can book, plus your cancellation window. Booking Approval decides whether a booking is confirmed instantly or waits in the Requests tab for you.
- I switched to Woof. How do my clients book now?
Share your Woof booking link. Every client you imported signs in on it with the email or phone number you have on file and gets a one-time code, so their pets are already there and nobody needs a new invitation.
- How do I invite a client to the portal?
Send an invitation from the client's profile or the Clients page in Woof, one client at a time or everyone not yet invited in one go. The email carries a link that signs them straight in and asks them to set a password.
- How do I add online booking to my website or social media?
The Preview tab under Schedule › Online Booking in Woof gives you three things to share: your booking link, a QR code, and a Book now button for your website. Put the link in your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile first; that is where most clients find you.
- Can I require vaccines before a client books online?
Yes. Under Schedule › Online Booking › Settings › Vaccination records in Woof, choose warn only (the default), block expired records, or require valid records; which vaccines count comes from Settings › Profile Fields.
- Can I review new clients before they book?
Yes. Under Schedule › Booking Flow in Woof, choose Approval required and each new client's intake lands in Clients › New Client Queue, where Approve creates their account and emails them a sign-in link.
- How do I take a deposit when a client books online?
Under Settings › Payment Policies in Woof (with Woof Pay set up), require a card on file or a deposit on every booking or on first-time bookings. The card step appears in the booking flow, and the deposit is charged when the booking is confirmed and refunded if they cancel online.
- How do I turn on online booking?
Online booking in Woof needs three things first: services with prices, groomer schedules, and business hours. Then the Settings tab under Schedule › Online Booking decides the rules, and the banner at the top switches it on or off.
- What does my booking page look like to clients?
Your Woof booking link opens a small client site: a storefront with your services and hours, a sign-in by email or phone code, the booking flow, and a home page with their appointments, pets, invoices and a message thread with you. Preview it from Schedule › Online Booking.
