Can I review new clients before they book?

Yes. Under Schedule › Booking Flow in Woof, choose Approval required and each new client's intake lands in Clients › New Client Queue, where Approve creates their account and emails them a sign-in link.

Some salons take any new client; others want to see the intake form before the dog walks in. Schedule › Booking Flow › Step 1 is the switch: Anyone can sign up and book right away, or Approval required.

With approval required

  1. A new person on your booking page is sent to your intake form: owner details, pet details, and the questions you ask.
  2. If their email already belongs to one of your clients, they are let straight through. Only genuinely new people wait.
  3. You get an email, the bell counts the request, and the sidebar shows New Client Queue with a count.
  4. Open Clients › New Client Queue. Each card shows the owner, contact details, the pet, and their answers.
  5. Approve creates the client and pet, and emails them a link that signs them in to the portal so they can book. Decline sends a polite email with an optional reason; nothing is created, and they can apply again later.

Until you decide, the client sees "your application is under review" if they try to sign in.

The emails

Email templates on the queue page holds the approval and decline emails. Edit them once, or edit just this one when you approve.

Stats

The Pending count is live. Approved and declined counts for the last 30 days, and the average time to review, appear once there is history.

With open signup

Nothing waits for you. The person creates their account as part of their first booking, their first-visit questionnaire and waiver are collected in the booking flow, and the booking follows your normal approval rule (Booking rules, lead times and approvals).
