Woof Help
Question

I switched to Woof. How do my clients book now?

Share your Woof booking link. Every client you imported signs in on it with the email or phone number you have on file and gets a one-time code, so their pets are already there and nobody needs a new invitation.

Once your clients and pets are in Woof, every one of them already has a place in your portal. What changes for them is the page you send them to.

What to do

  1. Open Schedule › Online Booking › Preview and copy Your booking URL. Put it wherever the old link was: your website button, Google Business Profile, Instagram bio, email signature (Put your booking link where clients are).
  2. Walk through it once yourself, as a client would.

What your clients experience

  • A client whose email or phone number is on their record signs in on your booking page with it and gets a one-time code. Their pets are already on the account, and anything you have booked or invoiced since the move is there too.
  • A brand-new client creates an account as part of their first booking, or applies first if you review new clients.

Nobody needs an invitation to sign in this way, though sending one from their profile is a friendly way to announce the change (Invite a client to the portal). A client with no email and no phone on file cannot sign in until you add one.

Your old software's booking page is not connected to Woof, so a booking made there never reaches your calendar. Replace the link everywhere you shared it, and tell regulars the new address in your next reminder or message.

Reminders

Appointment reminders go out from Woof from the first appointment you book here, with Woof's confirm link. Their wording and timing are yours to set under Grow › Automations (Reminders and confirmations).
