How do I set up recurring appointments?

Tick Make this recurring in Woof's booking wizard, choose every 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks (or monthly) and how many visits, and Woof books the whole series. Manage every series under Schedule › Recurring.

A standing appointment is a booking that repeats. Woof creates the actual appointments for you, so each one sits on the calendar, gets its own reminder, and can be moved or cancelled on its own.

Steps

  1. Book as usual. On the date step, tick Make this recurring.
  2. Choose Every 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks (or monthly) and how many visits.
  3. Book. The done screen confirms "N of M visits booked".

Each visit is placed at the same time with the same groomer. If that slot is taken on a later date, Woof still places the visit and flags it, so you can move it. Recurring appointments carry a badge on the calendar and on Today.

Managing a series

Schedule › Recurring lists every active series: pet, service, groomer, frequency, next appointment and how many are upcoming. Open one to:

  • change the time, groomer or notes for all future appointments (past ones are untouched);
  • change the frequency or end date;
  • pause or end the series.

Editing one occurrence (this Tuesday only) is done on the calendar like any other appointment; it does not change the series.

Clients

Clients cannot set up a recurring series from the portal yet; book it for them.

A pet whose groom is finished shows as Ready on the calendar, so a glance at the day tells you who is waiting to go home. It stays that way until you check them out.
