Question

What do the appointment statuses mean?

In Woof, Unconfirmed means the client has not responded to the reminder yet, Confirmed means they tapped the link or you marked it, and Checked in, Ready, Completed and No-show describe the visit itself. Running late is computed from the clock.

Every card on the calendar and every row on Today carries one tag. They fall into two families.

Before the visit: did the client confirm?

  • Unconfirmed: the reminder either has not gone out yet or the client has not acted on it. Every new booking starts here.
  • Confirmed: the client tapped the confirm link in their reminder email or text, or a staff member marked the visit confirmed after a call. Either counts the same.
  • Reschedule requested: the client used the link to say they cannot make it. Call them, or wait for them to rebook from the portal.

Moving an appointment to another day resets it to Unconfirmed, and the next reminder asks again.

During the visit: where is the pet?

  • Checked in: someone clicked Check In; the pet is on site.
  • Ready: the groom is finished and the pet is waiting to go home. Set by Complete Grooming, or by telling the owner it is ready. The pet is still on site until you check it out.
  • Completed: the pet has been checked out.
  • No-show: a staff member marked the client as not having turned up.

The two "late"s

  • Running late appears on today's calendar only: the start time passed more than 15 minutes ago, nobody has checked the pet in, and the slot is still running. It disappears on its own at check-in or when the slot ends.
  • Marked late is a note a staff member put on a past appointment on purpose (Mark Late).

What "Booked" means on the stats strip

Booked is simply every appointment for the day. Here now, Coming, Running late, Completed and No-show split that number between them, so they always add up.
