How do I add a photo or a document to a pet?

Open the pet in Woof and click Edit then Upload Pet Photo for the profile photo (crop it so the face fits the circle), or Upload under Files & Documents for a vet letter, registration or PDF. Report cards keep the before and after photos from each visit.

Open the client and click the pet's tab. Three places hold pictures and paperwork.

The profile photo

Click Edit on the pet and Upload Pet Photo, or tap the photo itself. Before it saves you can rotate, zoom and drag the picture inside a square frame; the circle shows what will appear on the calendar, Today and the client's portal, so a tall photo does not lose the dog's head. Photos are resized in your browser before upload, so any size from a phone is fine.

Files & Documents

Files & Documents lists everything on file for this pet, newest first: vet letters, registration papers, adoption records, and vaccination documents the client uploaded from their portal (those carry a Vaccine record badge and also appear in the Vaccinations section for approval).

  • Upload adds a file (images and PDFs).
  • View document opens it.
  • Removing a file hides it from the list; nothing is destroyed.

An older file may show as "not viewable in Woof yet"; it is still there, just not converted.

Report cards and groom photos

The Report Cards section lists every card sent for this pet, each with its before and after photos and the groomer's notes. New photos get here by sending a report card at check-out. There is no separate gallery upload.

Clients' side

Clients see the profile photo and their pet's report cards. They cannot see Files & Documents, except the vaccination records they uploaded themselves.
