- How do I find and chase unpaid invoices?
The Unpaid tab under Money › Invoices & Payments in Woof lists every open invoice with Send Reminder (a pay link by email) on each. Insights › Balances & Aging shows who owes what for how long, with Chase to message them.
- How do I close the day and count the cash drawer?
Money › Daily Close in Woof is the end-of-day page: the day's revenue by payment method, the close-out checks (pets still here, staff still clocked in, card tips to pay out), the checklist, and the cash count against what the drawer should hold.
- How do I create a coupon code or give a discount?
Coupon codes live under Settings › Coupon Codes in Woof: a code, a discount, optional dates, minimum spend, usage limits and the services it applies to. A one-off discount goes straight on the invoice with + Add a discount.
- How do I create an invoice?
In Woof, press N or click New and choose Create invoice, pick the pet, add services and products, apply any discount, and either collect payment now or email the invoice with a pay link. Most invoices open themselves at check-in, so you create one by hand for walk-ins and extras.
- How do I set a cancellation or no-show policy?
Settings › Payment Policies in Woof holds the rules clients see and Woof applies at online booking: card on file, deposits, and your cancellation window. The no-show fee section records your policy for now; charging it is still a manual step.
- How do I change the tax on my invoices?
Settings › Invoice & Tax in Woof holds your tax rate (and an optional second one), your tax registration number, whether prices include tax, and the invoice number prefix and next number. Which items are taxed comes from each service or product's own taxable flag.
- How does the loyalty program work?
Clients earn points on every paid invoice in Woof and spend them as money off a later one. You set two numbers under Money › Loyalty Rewards: points per dollar spent, and points needed for a dollar off, with auto-enrol on by default.
- How do I refund or fix an invoice?
An open invoice in Woof can be edited or deleted. A paid invoice charged through Woof Pay can be refunded in full with one click; anything else you refund the way you took it and record by voiding the invoice or creating a new one.
- How do I email or print a receipt?
Woof emails a receipt automatically when an invoice is paid, whatever the method. Send Receipt re-sends it from the paid invoice or the appointment, and Print Receipt opens the same branded receipt ready to print or save as a PDF.
- How do I take card payments in Woof?
Woof Pay is how Woof charges cards: at the counter, on pay links, for deposits and cards on file. Set it up once from Settings › Woof Pay, where the status card tells you where you are, and if the page says it is not available yet, click Ask to turn on Woof Pay.
- How do I take a payment on an invoice?
Collect Payment in Woof opens a window with one tile per payment method you accept: pick one, add a tip, add a second payment if they are splitting, and close the invoice. Or email a pay link and let the client pay by card themselves.
- Can I use my own card terminal or payment processor?
Yes. Settings › Payments in Woof lists the ways you take money at the counter; Cash is always on, and you add your own method for anything else, such as e-transfer or the card terminal you already own, which Woof records but does not talk to.
